Quality assurance in e-learning: PDPP evaluation model





Abstract:

E-learning has become these days, an increasingly significant in the way of teaching that incorporate learning in educational institutions and corporate training. Therefore the evaluation of e-learning, is essential for the quality assurance of e-learning courses.
The study builds a model of the 4 phases of assessment for e-learning courses, including planning, development, the process and product evaluation, called the evaluation model PDPP. In the 1st phase includes market demand, feasibility, users, course objectives, and resources. In the 2nd stage is for the instructional design, course design materials, website design course, flexibility, student-student interaction, teacher / tutor support, technical assistance and evaluation. Stage 3 refers to the support technician use website, learning interaction, learning assessment, learning support and flexibility. The final phase corresponds to student satisfaction, effectiveness of teaching, learning effectiveness, and sustainability.
The study shows that a high quality of teaching and learning can be ensured through systematic evaluation procedure PDPP.
