Industrial Engineering

Industrial engineering is a branch of engineering that concerns the development, improvement, implementation and evaluation of integrated systems of people, money, knowledge, information, equipment, energy, material and process. Industrial engineering draws upon the principles and methods of engineering analysis and synthesis, as well as mathematical, physical and social sciences together with the principles and methods of engineering analysis and design to specify, predict and evaluate the results to be obtained from such systems. In lean manufacturing systems, Industrial engineers work to eliminate wastes of time, money, materials, energy, and other resources.

Industrial engineering is also known as operations management, systems engineering, production engineering, manufacturing engineering or manufacturing systems engineering; a distinction that seems to depend on the viewpoint or motives of the user. Recruiters or educational establishments use the names to differentiate themselves from others. In healthcare, industrial engineers are more commonly known as management engineers or health systems engineers.

Ingeniería Industrial

La ingeniería industrial es una rama de ingeniería que concierne el desarrollo, mejoramiento, ejecución y la evaluación de sistemas integrados de personas, dinero, conocimiento, información, equipo, energía, material y proceso. La ingeniería industrial se sirve de los principios y métodos de diseñar análisis y síntesis, así como matemático, físico y las sociologías junto con los principios y métodos de diseñar análisis y diseño para especificar, prediga y evalúe los resultados para ser existido de tales sistemas. En sistemas industrial la inclinación, industrial ingenieros trabajan para eliminar los desechos de tiempo, dinero, materiales, energía, y otros recursos.
La ingeniería industrial es también conocido con el nombre de manejo de operaciones, sistemas de ingeniería, ingeniería de producción, ingeniería industrial o manufacturar sistemas de ingeniería; una distinción que parece  depender del punto de vista o móviles del usuario. Reclutadores o establecimientos educacionales usa los nombres para diferenciarse de otros. En atención médica, los ingenieros industriales sea más comúnmente conocido como ingenieros de manejo o ingenieros de sistemas de salud.
