Previous Knowledge for Elearning

E-learning is defined as the modality of education based in the use of electronic media and information and communication technologies (ICT). For this reason includes numerous types of media that deliver text, audio, images, animation and video, among others formats and applications into virtual learning environments which are also called learning platforms. E-learning is suited to distance learning and flexible learning, but it can also be used in conjunction with face-to-face teaching, in which case the term blended learning is used. This particularity facilitates processes and breaks the traditional paradigm of the methodologies centered on the explanatory method that was turning the education into a simple teaching  as an answer to a net academic exigency  out of context. In this modality the previous knowledge of the students is essential for the teacher in order to get a significant learning, since this happens when they work together with the already existing knowledge and ideas in the cognitive structure of the subject and the new material of learning, environments or virtual objects of learning.
